How beginners can use this page

When you are new to astronomy for beginners, weather can be the biggest challenge. A short planning routine helps: check cloud cover, compare two nearby locations, then decide whether moon photography or deep-sky photography is realistic for that night.

If cloud cover, transparency, or seeing are poor, use the session for equipment setup practice instead of long capture attempts. That keeps progress moving even on difficult nights.

Search a location to view the Clear Outside forecast panel with weather and cloud cover details.
