The Moon - 05/01/2025
These were all taken on a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL from the front door with a mix of night-sight mode and maximum zoom.
Sessions like this are useful for learning timing, steadiness, and quick framing adjustments. Repeating the same target over multiple nights makes it easier to spot what camera settings and conditions actually improve detail.
If your first results feel soft, that is normal. Consistency in setup and repetition under better seeing conditions usually improves moon detail faster than changing gear immediately.

A useful beginner progression is to master focus and exposure on the Moon first, then move to brighter deep-sky targets once your framing and session workflow feel repeatable.
