The terms for using Our Astro Journey, its astronomy resources, tools, downloads and connected creator features.

These terms apply when you use the Our Astro Journey website and services. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the affected service.

Our guides, target information, planning tools, calculators, forecasts and other astronomy resources are provided for general information and hobby use. We work to keep information accurate, but astronomy data, weather, visibility, transit predictions, launch schedules and third-party information can change or contain errors.
You are responsible for checking time-sensitive information before relying on it, particularly for travel, observing sessions and rare events.
Looking at or imaging the Sun can cause permanent eye injury and can damage equipment. Solar content on this site is educational and does not replace the instructions supplied with certified solar-viewing equipment. Never look directly at the Sun through a telescope, binoculars, camera viewfinder or other optical device unless a suitable purpose-designed solar filter is correctly fitted and inspected.
Some services may allow an authorised user to connect a supported social account, review public content/performance information, prepare posts or send content to a platform. You must only connect an account you are authorised to use.
When a platform asks you to approve permissions, the permissions shown by that platform control what Our Astro Journey can access. Platform rules and technical limitations continue to apply. A connected feature may stop working if the platform changes its API, your permission expires, you revoke access, or the platform restricts the app.
You remain responsible for reviewing content before publication and for complying with the rules of the social platform on which you publish it.
You keep ownership of content you provide to Our Astro Journey. Where a feature requires processing, storing, resizing, analysing or sending that content to a service you have selected, you give us permission to do those things only as needed to provide the feature.
Do not submit content you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing or intended to compromise another person's account or systems.
Some pages may contain affiliate links or discount codes. If you buy through an affiliate link, Our Astro Journey may receive a commission without increasing the price you pay. Reviews and opinions are intended to remain independent, and any relevant commercial relationship should be disclosed with the content.
The site links to and, in some tools, communicates with third-party services. Examples can include astronomy data archives, weather/data providers, Google services, Formspree and social platforms. We do not control those services and cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, security or continued operation. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Unless stated otherwise, the site's original written content, branding, layout, photographs and graphics are owned by or licensed to Our Astro Journey. You may link to public pages and make normal personal use of the site. You may not republish substantial original content, remove attribution, impersonate the brand or use the site in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.
Third-party astronomy images, catalogues, product images and data remain subject to the rights and licences of their respective owners or providers.
We may change, suspend or withdraw a feature, integration or page, particularly where a third-party API changes or a feature is experimental. We may update these terms when the service changes. The latest date is shown at the top of this page.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Our Astro Journey is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from hobby use of free information or tools, loss of data caused by a third-party service, or decisions made using information that should reasonably have been independently checked.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms removes any consumer rights that apply to you under mandatory law.
